Evolution of Eskimo Studios:

Little Magesh, aged 7 years, went along with his father Janaki Ram, who  is a technician in the Cinema Industry, to the shooting spot once. He was amazed by the lights, colours , people and especially the Director- captain of the ship.

​

This dream factory beckoned him every day. And with ,school bags on shoulder, chewing a lolly pop, he began to frequent the sets almost regularly.

​

Television advertisements lured him. It was crisp. It had colours, music, all that would entice young minds.

​

He became one with this new colourful world.   At school, teachers were taken aback ,surprised, shocked- what ever you name it-to watch him do things differently.

​

As he grew, his interest transformed into passion.  To get hands on experience, he joined as Assistant Director to AL.Vijay, a successful ad film director. With over 100 ad films in his creative Kitty, AL Vijay was welcomed into the world of films.

​

This gave our Magesh, a golden opportunity to work in well- acclaimed films like Madarasappattinam, Kreedam and Poi solla Porom.

​

Now, he thought, he had to make use of his passion, his knowledge and travel  towards achieving a niche in the world of advertisements and started Eskimo Studios.

​

Result= 200 plus TV Commercials + 50 Contented Clients –within a span of 14 years, and ……..

​

Our clientele –from the home made Masala Powder to Italian Floorings.

​

Our Strength-  The Ad world has given us a deep understanding of the preference ,likes and expectations of both our clients and the target audience. We understood their pulse better. Hence, we have a crystal clear clarity of who, would like what and how, to present them in the most accepted and appreciable manner.

​

In between, Magesh is an 80s kid, when musical albums, which is now termed as singles, were popular.

​

Though, advertisements had music and jingles, he wanted to create something new, and that’s how the Concept of Wedding Anthem clicked within him.

​

He wanted to bring to life the real emotions. No reeling, Just Real.
